Set right at the core of Singapore downtown is the Oasia Hotel. Even though the building has been erected only recently, it has quickly become a recognisable part of the cityscape.
Following Singapore’s urban planning philosophy of blending architecture with nature, Oasia’s colourful facade is covered with plants and greenery.
The local architect company Woha that designed the hotel wanted to give green spaces back to the city and create a bio environment similar to a garden. If you are keen to check out Oasia, it is easy to reach by the MRT subway linked directly to the building.
Since its opening, the hotel has received multiple awards for innovation in architecture and urban planning. Apart from pushing the boundaries of design, the building just looks really spectacular. Come check it out, together with other attractions in the Tanjong Pagar area.
